The Pacific Northwest is home to April Ellington. At the ripe old age of 7, she started experimenting with making Jewelry. Her love of her art has grown over the years, as she practiced her skills and developed her talent. A gifted artist, April has now been making beautiful Jewelry for over 36 years.
Working with unique, brilliant gemstones, setting them in her own silver and gold designs, each Jewelry piece becomes a treasure for her customers.
She has traveled extensively to seek out just the right gemstones for her designs. Her discovery of Mystic Topaz and Northern Lights added some of the most fascinating gemstones to April’s growing collection.
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest region of Washington State, USA, she learned to love the fascinating Mount St. Helens Helenite gemstones, as well as many more of the beautiful Northwest gems. Being in Eastern Washington when Mount St. Helens erupted in 1980, she soon started working with this most treasured Helenite gemstone in 1982.
Her choice, to pick only rich-color and hard-to-find gemstones, makes this web site a true one-of-a-kind! Selecting top quality gemstones takes time. April takes the time to select the exact gemstone that will complete a superb piece of Jewelry.
